\nCeilings with minimal suspension height and even surfaces<\/p>\n

Mounting<\/strong><\/p>\n

1) Mount base frame on wall with suitable mounting material and\/or on load-bearing sections of ceiling<\/p>\n

Panels must be allowed to stabilize\/acclimatize on site for at least 48 hours prior to installation
\nFrame should be 50mm x 50mm, and minimum of 50mm x30mm; in this case 20mm spacing pieces are required (cavity = 50mm)
\nFrame spacing should be 600mm – 800mm
\nFixings spacing (screw and\/or plug spacing of 1000mm at most)
\nFor panels with horizontal grooves, be sure to mount the frame vertically
\nBe sure to heed joint clearance in the timber batten as well (1mm per running meter)
\nUse a carpenter’s level to align the frame, using spacing pieces wherever necessary to even out irregularities
\nIn order to achieve the desired sound absorption effect, insulating material at the level stipulated in the respective datasheet must be inserted in the cavity (in most instances this will be 50mm mineral wool of approx. 35kg\/m\u00b3)<\/p>\n

Micro-perforation and stepped (graded) bores \u2013 wall installation using suspension strips<\/h2>\n

\nIn this type of assembly, the studs are mounted vertically.<\/p>\n

Panels featuring an asymmetric hole placement (micro-perforated and stepped\/graded bores) exhibit a tendency to warp. Thus we recommend screwing the suspension strips on to the non-perforated edge and gluing them to the panels in perforated areas.<\/p>\n

Glue must be runny enough to penetrate the acoustic fleece backing in order for the strip to adhere directly to the panel.<\/p>\n

Tongue-and-groove joints can be used with slat width of 192mm (standard width of grooved panels \u2013 slats).
