References for office acoustics:

There are two very importance factors which are responsible for the acoustics in an office:
1) sufficient sound absorption in the room; a reverberation time of 0.5 sec is the aim for optimal acoustics in the workplace
2) a decoupling of different workspaces by acoustic barriers such as partition walls, shelves, etc. as an optimal reverberation time alone does not guarantee optimal acoustics in the office.
